Policies & Guidelines

1. Scope of Publications

• Academic books, monographs, and edited volumes.
• Research reports, working papers, and dissertations (with revisions).
• Educational material such as course books, handbooks, and guides.
• Special focus: Social Sciences and Humanities, though multidisciplinary works are welcome.

2. Manuscript Submission Policy

• Manuscripts should be submitted in MS Word / PDF format.
• The work must be original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism.
• Authors must follow our Manuscript Preparation Guidelines (APA/MLA).
• Each submission undergoes peer review or editorial screening.

3. Review & Acceptance Policy

• Initial editorial review for scope, quality, and plagiarism.
• Double-blind peer review for academic monographs and edited volumes.
• Acceptance, revision, or rejection is communicated via email within 1–2 weeks.

4. Publication Charges

• Book Publication (Single Author): ₹5,000 – ₹25,000 (depending on length & complexity).
• Edited Volume: ₹10,000 – ₹40,000 (includes ISBN & editorial support).
• Research Report / Dissertation Publication: ₹5,000 – ₹15,000.
• Journal Articles (if under Lyceum Journals): Fee as per journal guidelines.
• Printing cost (hard copy) is additional and based on actual requirement.

(Note: Waivers/discounts available for Lyceum members.)

5. Royalties & Copyright Policy

• Authors retain copyright of their work.
• Lyceum Publications will hold publishing rights.
• Royalties:
  • Print copies: 10% of net sales to author(s).
  • E-books: 50% of net sales to author(s).
• Open-access option available (with a one-time fee and 80% royalty).

6. Distribution & Indexing

• Books published with ISBN (International Standard Book Number).
• Distribution through: Lyceum website and other academic platforms.
• Indexing in relevant bibliographic databases (where applicable).

7. Ethics & Plagiarism Policy

• Plagiarism above 10% (excluding references) is not acceptable.
• All manuscripts are checked via plagiarism detection software.
• Misrepresentation, duplicate submission, or copyright violation will lead to rejection.

8. Timelines

• Acceptance to Publication: 1–2 Weeks (digital).
• Print release (if opted): Additional 2–3 weeks.

9. Membership & Discounts

• Lifetime Membership: ₹2,000 (one-time).
• Benefits:
  • 25% discount on publication charges.
  • Free participation in selected Lyceum seminars.
  • Priority in review and fast-track processing.
